The Plains accommodates 96 residents in eight 12-bed houses arranged in L shapes to keep corridors short. The resident houses are designed around a series of public and private courtyards providing a familiar, homely environment.
The development also benefits from a basement car park, with 60 spaces for staff and visitors. This project succeeds in providing residents with a comfortable, domestic scale home and also delivering an efficient work environment for staff, improving the quality of life of each resident.
