Gavin has been involved in architectural practice since 1991 and has worked on a wide variety of projects including Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Child Care Centres, School Buildings, Residential Buildings, Shopping Centres, Industrial projects and Churches.
Gavin has a wide range of experience in design, documentation and contract administration across a number of disciplines. He has a special interest in church design, covering both traditional settings and contemporary multi-purpose facilities. Contract Administration duties on these projects have ranged from fully serviced administration of a building contract to quality control inspections and advice under a Project Manager.
He is familiar with various building procurement methods including the traditional Tender, and Construction Management. He has also had experience in Fast Track documentation, and the production of Trade Packages for separate tender.
His skills encompass the development of a design, an attention to detail and a sound construction knowledge and practical on-site experience to ensure a quality result. As a team leader in the practice, he is committed to client satisfaction through service, performance and quality result. Gavin also advises in Computer Management within the practice, and is a proficient user of Computer Aided Design and Drafting software, with extensive experience in the software packages Autodesk, AutoCAD and Revit.
