Costa is a talented architect and project director with over twelve years of experience in the industry. His principal expertise lies within the Retail & Commercial sectors, having designed and delivered many successful projects since he joined the firm in 2000. He also has had experience in a wide variety of other architectural disciplines including work on Mixed-use, Educational, Industrial, Institutional & Residential developments.
Costa has experience in projects of various typologies including greenfield sites, refurbishments, alterations, extensions & heritage buildings. He understands the nuances of delivering projects with all building procurement methods and maintains direct involvement in his projects from inception through to completion.
Costa became a shareholder and Principal of ThomsonAdsett in 2005 and has since sat on the Holdings Board for four of the past five years. He has also worked on several management sub-committees within the firm including the ThomsonAdsett visioning group.
Costa places a strong focus on developing collaborative partnerships with both clients and the wider industry. He recently helped forge a successful mentoring program for students at Brisbane State High School. Selected students receive work experience and mentorship through their formative years from high school and into university.
